15 Dec MWGA Offers Scholarships to Attend Young Entrepreneur Program in Denver, CO
The Montana Woolgrowers Association is spearheading the search for young producers to represent Montana at the American Sheep Industry’s Young Entrepreneur Program during their Annual Convention in Denver, CO, January 26-29th. If you are interested in attending or know of any young sheep producers, ages 25-40, please encourage them to apply!
This program continues to impress attendees and this year will be no different. The program is designed by young entrepreneurs who are also a part of the lamb and wool industry. This year’s program promises to provide ample amounts of educational and networking opportunities with more hands-on, interactive sessions, introductions to attendee’s operations, a wool grading/classing session, and direct and social-media marketing speakers. Young Entrepreneur attendees are encouraged to take in the rest of the convention. MWGA will pay for rooming for 3 nights, all meals, convention registration, and will help with airline costs of up to $500. Applicants must be current members of the Montana Wool Growers Association.
Here’s how you apply: Email a one page letter to the Executive Secretary of the MWGA, Jesse Wallewein, at firstname.lastname@example.org, by the 23rd of December. The letter should contain your contact information, your background in the sheep industry, an overview of your current operations, and where you see your future in the sheep industry. If you have any questions, please call Jesse at (406) 450-3429.
